In the wake of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, there have been changes in the powers of inspectors in the police force. Yesterday Late at night on 26th, orders for the transfer of as many as 129 police inspectors were issued by the office of the Director General of Police. At this time, 41 inspectors from Pune and 13 inspectors from Pimpri Chinchwad were transferred. So 16 new police inspectors are appearing in Pune.
