Navi Mumbai / Jitin Shetty : Gurunath Chichkar (50), a builder from Navi Mumbai, allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a pistol in his office on Friday morning. The deceased was living on the fourth floor of a society at Kille Gavthan near Belapur Fort, while his office is on the ground floor of the same society.
Chichkar wrote a suicide note to his mother, in which he said that he was taking the drastic step as he could not bear the mental stress of being repeatedly called for questioning by the Mumbai NCB and Belapur police.
