Mumbai Missing Case : In a vital initiative aimed at addressing the alarming issue of missing women and children, the Mulund and Navghar police stations have launched “Operation Search,” running from March 1 to July 1. This campaign is set to mobilize the community in locating individuals reported missing in the area. Authorities urge residents to remain vigilant, particularly in public spaces such as railway stations, markets, and temples.
The campaign, spearheaded by the Mulund Division police, will focus on individuals lost in the jurisdiction of Mulund and Navghar police stations. During this period, special attention will be given to children, who are often the most vulnerable. Deputy Inspector Bharat Rathod of Navghar Police Station emphasized the need for community cooperation, stating, “We are calling on everyone to play an active role in this search. Any information, no matter how small, could lead to the safe return of a missing person.”
In collaboration with local NGOs and community organizations, the police aim to raise awareness about the plight of missing persons. Posters featuring photographs and details of those who are lost will be distributed across the region, seeking public assistance. Furthermore, police officers will be stationed at key locations to facilitate reporting and provide support to the community.
The campaign also serves as a reminder of the importance of personal safety and vigilance. “It is essential for everyone to look out for one another, especially in busy public areas where individuals may go missing,” remarked Inspector Darade from Mulund Police Station, who has been actively involved in the campaign’s planning.
As Operation Search progresses, the Mulund and Navghar police are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations. Residents are encouraged to report any sightings or information related to missing persons to their local police stations promptly. Together, the community can play a significant role in reuniting families and enhancing public safety.
In conclusion, Operation Search not only aims to find those missing but also strives to foster a sense of community responsibility and awareness. The partnership between law enforcement and citizens is crucial in addressing this pressing issue.
