Daund, 23 Six dams have been approved on the Boribel-Kalewadi stream coming from Ravangaon Dongara in the eastern part of Daund taluka. This fund has been approved through MLA Rahul Kul.
The farmers of this area were always in need of water for irrigation in summer. The rain water from the mountain top of Ravangaon Malad area meets the Bhima river through this stream. If this wasted water is blocked and the rainwater is absorbed into the ground, the water level will increase. Therefore, it will naturally help the surrounding water sources (wells – borewells) permanently to provide excess water in the event of low rainfall. come Rahul Kul always pays attention to the water issues of the farmers. Despite less rain in the eastern part this year, due to proper planning in the canal committee, there will be two tours through the canal in summer. If water is released on this stream from the canal, it will benefit the nearby farmers to a large extent.
