IPS Niket Kaushik’s Crackdown Rocks Mira-Bhayandar

Illegal Spas, Bars and Hookah Parlours Face “No Mercy” Action

Mira-Bhayandar, Maharashtra: Under the aggressive leadership of IPS officer Niket Kaushik, the Mira-Bhayandar Police have launched a sweeping crackdown on illegal spas, ladies’ bars, and hookah parlours, delivering a strong blow to the city’s underworld networks. Since taking charge, Kaushik’s relentless operations have left local criminal gangs unsettled.

Raids and Arrests

In the Kashimira area, late-night raids targeted five notorious bars — Saranga, Swagat, Night Meeting, Samadhan, and Cherish — resulting in over 20 people being booked under various offences.

At Star Night Orchestra Bar, police rescued five women and disrupted obscene dance performances.

Multiple unauthorized spas and hookah parlours were raided for violations including illegal permits, operating beyond legal hours, and exploitation of foreign women.

“No Mercy” Policing Plan

Working round the clock, the Social Security Cell and Crime Branch have been carrying out coordinated raids. Licenses of offending establishments are being suspended or revoked and criminal charges filed immediately.
Kaushik has sent a clear message: “No one is above the law.”

Public Support

Local residents have praised the initiative, noting a visible change in the city’s nightlife.

“Since this officer took charge, the fear of law has returned and the city feels safer,” said one resident.

The Road Ahead

With IPS Kaushik’s determined drive, Mira-Bhayandar’s illegal spa, bar, and hookah networks are collapsing, signaling what could be a permanent end to organized vice in the region.
